Stumpage Bid Sales  

Huber Resources Corporation periodically facilitates stumpage bid sales on client properties. Theses sales are conducted in the Sulphur River Bottom region in Texas (Morris, Titus and Red River Counties) and in southeast Oklahoma. The Texas lands are primarily hardwood and native Shortleaf Pine and hardwood in Oklahoma.

Prospective bidders may also want to note the following:

Tract sizes vary
Duration of contracts range from
6 months to 2 years, but are negotiable
Bids are lump some or pay-as-cut (specifications required)
High level cruise data is provided
Topographical maps are provided, as
well as aerial photos and covertype maps
Tracts are laid out by the
managing forester
Deposits are required
Insurance is required and must include:

 
 
  • Worker's Compensation - Statutory Limits
    (no exemptions)
  • Employer's Liability - $500,000 minimum coverage
  • Comprehensive General Liability - $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit written on an occurrence basis
  • Contractual Liability - $1,000,000
  • Automobile Liablity - $500,000 Combined Single Limit including all owned, non-owned and hired vehicles
